Nordstrom Fall Sweater Try-On Haul

Hey babes!

Well, sweater season is here (and for those of us in the midwest, it really sprang up on us!) If you’re a summer lover like me, you were hanging on to the last bits of the warm afternoons and patio parties while you could and unfortunately didn’t prepare as well as you should, so now’s the time to stock up on the cutest sweaters to get you through what is surely a long winter (shoutout to Missouri weather).

So I checked out my go-to for quality, effortlessly chic pieces – Nordstrom – for this year’s top winter wear. Check out my picks below:

Madewell Balloon Sleeve Pullover Sweater – Egyptian Gold
This sweater comes in four colors that you’re seeing everywhere this season, including this Egyptian Gold (it’s yellow.) I adore the high low detail (size up to wear comfortably with leggings) and the balloon sleeves, but what really sold me is the chunky knit patter that is basically wrapping yourself in a blanket all day long. While this sweater runs a little high in price, anything from Madewell is just that…MADE WELL. You know this sweater will last being worn multiple days in a row (guilty…) and then stuffed in storage for next year, coming out just as fantastic and soft as it was the year before. Runs TTS and is under $100.

Topshop Mock Neck Sweater – Rust
Another color of the year, rust, combined with the modern, bold horizontal lines of this sweater make it an absolute statement. Sized large by design (size two down if you want a more form fitting look), this sweater is PERFECT for leggings and OTK boots (see above). Plus, for me, the mock neck gives a perfect excuse to wear my hair in a messy bun and isn’t that a huge bonus? Runs large and under $70.

Leith Transfer Stitch Turtleneck Sweater – Red
If you were to ask me what my favorite sweater brand was, I’d have a hard time narrowing it down. BUT, Leith would most definitely be in the top 5. I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to my sweaters and view them as an investment. I don’t want them loosing their vibrancy or shape after a few wears. ESPECIALLY when it is a cropped sweater and has the bold coloring like this. Pair this with some dark high-waisted jeans and you have the perfect night out outfit! Runs TTS and under $70.

Trouve Side Slit Sweater – Tan
World… I’d like to introduce you to the SOFTEST sweater there ever has been. It’s knitted with a bit of cashmere so you get all the benefits without the price. AMAZING. It is a bit long, so I paired it with black jeans, but it would be perfect with leggings and leopard booties as well! Runs TTS (but long) and is $70, but currently on sale for $41!

Treasure & Bond One-Shoulder Ribbed Sweater – Beige Oatmeal
This OTS look pairs cute and comfy in the perfect mashup! The beige oatmeal color is gorgeous and dresses up the slouchy look that comes with this ribbed sweater. Beyond that, it is absolutely soft, so soft that I’ve been wearing this OTS sweater around the house with joggers like the most boujee I can be. (No shame.) It does run large (so order a size down) and under $70.
